Boxster - you can get one on the cheap, and it’s mid-engined and balanced.

The Lohner-Porsche, a 4wd gas-electric hybrid... from 1900.

The 928 was my dream car when I was a kid.

I don’t even know what the actual fuck a 928 is. My vote is 911 because that *is* the one everyone knows about.

Actually, that car isn’t for sale, the owner never did tell me if it was a 911 or a 912 though

HERES THE THING................ after all that buildup, all the hyping that you did over the car when you first found it,.............. then when you dropped the ball, and let us ALL down by not asking the owner about it when you had the chance.............
and you cant be bothered to tell us how it FINALLY turned out...............
![]() 10/13/2016 at 21:13 |

Oh, I can understand that. I though it was rather anticlimactic at the end of it all.
![]() 10/13/2016 at 21:18 |
|
anticlimactic or not, starting a story, and then not finishing it is poor form..............

959.
![]() 10/13/2016 at 21:22 |

I may go back, I’m interested to see what’s become of the car, if anything

Also 908. There was an episode of Miami Vice with one. I’ve loved them since then. Damn I’m old

It really is an ugly car despite the awesome livery.
![]() 10/13/2016 at 21:27 |
|
Yep. That’s a 989.

Sally.

yeah, I agree - 959. It probably added more “culturally” than any other. Bill Gates helped.

it’ll still be there..........
years ago there was a 69 or 70 mustang in an otherwise empty field on the way to town that i really wanted. it was a boss 302 in mustard yellow. i asked around until i finally found out who owned the property,
if i asked the guy about it once, i asked a dozen times. it was slowly sinking back into the earth. i made a more than generous offer of $2k. i kept after the guy. always told me he just wasnt ready to sell.
drove past the spot one day, and it was gone. i asked the guy what happened. he had sold it to some other guy for a thousand.
everything is not for sale......... until it is..............

356A. The car that made America fall in love with Porsche.
![]() 10/13/2016 at 22:53 |

Any Porsche that still has the RR setup.
Most of these newer ones have their engines creeping forward. That called cheating. Put your engine back where it was back in the back of the back and deal with your heritage strengths and weaknesses like all the other carmakers Porsche!

I absolutely love the 928. But as enthusiast/project cars go the 924 is the last affordable vintage Porsche.

968. Hell, even I didn’t know these existed up until about a year ago. Plus, I love the generic ‘90s styling that looks like a Starion mated with a R129.
